Car has 111k klms (about 68k miles) and is in perfect condition.
I actually took the picture. Camera was on top of the steering wheel hub.
Admittedly it was slightly downhill, but road was empty and 5 lanes wide.
Lights were up, which I believe "cut" about 5 klms/h at these speeds. I believe I can see the magic "300 klms/h" number.
Car has no engine cut-off

I always try to stay at half a tank, never below 1/4 tank line

Unbelievable! I recently had mine up to 140 mph and was suprised how completely stable it was. It was clearly still pulling strong and had more, but I wouldn't have thought that much. Scary....

Old tank, doesn't want the fuel pump to pick up any deposits I assume

The R888's may whine a bit but they're R-spec tyres. They do however make up for it in grip don't they? They're not available in the U.S. yet either so most guys on here won't know them. I've had two sets and really like them. Also the speedo's are notoriously overambitious compared to actual speed, but nice going. I've touched 240kph a few times in Australia and it felt like it had plenty left to go but if we got caught at that speed we'd get arrested on the spot and lose license for years.
