Haha Rob you kill me

Ballistic: You'll nut yourself
Rickb20: Sure, the gas cap will fit (I believe its an indutsry standard size) and to bring it flush with the body adjust the fuel filler neck (move it up the rubber hose a bit) until its flush with the body. Then you'll have to weld some steel to close the radius of the hole around it

Lynn: Thanks man - I'm doing up some drawings of the front end right now to email you and Brooks. I'll also post them up here so I can get comments and suggestions.

Rob: NYSE huh? I don't change THAT much do I? Its just all the prototype & planning stages have been accelerated tremendously! Sometimes I just go for it and hope it will all fit and work!

NYSE = New York Stock Exchange. Meaning? You're like trying to following the stock market, which changes every second!

Not yet, usually in about another hour or so I'll get an update from Lynn if the car came back from the blast shop. I'm praying it did....

Default Front layout

Okay here's a drawing I did real quick to show the layout of the front. Pardon the crappy graphics its the best I could do for now.

BTW Rolex is the main reason I'm doing this thread and updating it...if it wasn't for him encouraging me to post the thread I wouldn't have and would have just posted pics of the finished product at the end. There are countless times when I just get fed up with the childish members of this forum and want to say "Fu#k it".

As the age of the series increases, the market value drops, which is completely changing the "demographics"... of the new owners.

Hehe, imagine if you were a '28 owner? Well at least the engineering and space limitations are daunting enough to scare most folks away.

Agreed, but just because you're young doesn't mean you have to act like a retard. Hell half of my complaints are with those in their 30s or so. Stupidity knows no age, race or gender.

Agreed!, and nice drawings too pal. So I take it then you are going with one rad now, no more dual set-up?

Correct no more twin setup, talking to Mr. Mad Scientist Chris White, the flow through of the intercooler will not impeed the air to the radiator very much. Yes it will warm the air up a bit but I'm going with a radiator almost the width of the front of the 951...I don't see cooling as an issue .

Also I found this nifty gold foil I want Chris to line the engine compartment with, also the body shop will line the inside of the front shell with it as well. Should give a very distinct look to the insides while yielding EXCELLENT heat repulsion. Weighs 5oz per square yard, reflects 78% heat at 450 degree Centigrade for well over 8 continous hours.

Dare I even ask how much it costs? Well, assuming its like the stuff in the mclaren f1, I'll guess a lot.

What kind of fancy heat stuff are you going to do with the headers and piping?

When I saw that pic my first thought was "moon rover". Very cool! I am getting more impressed with your car everyday, keep up the good work and keep pushing into new territory!
