Default Anyone need a turbo for christmas

Hello All,
I have a newly rebuilt Kokeln turbo. They call this the stage 5 on their site. I just had this turbo completely rebuilt at Lindsey Racing. I recently purchased a new engine complete with turbo and would like to sell this one with zero hours.
$600 obo. This turbo is a direct bolt on. I would put this turbo on any 951. It spooled quickly and offered a significant hp increase over previous KKK turbos that I have used.
Please call with any questions. 650-520-3191
Thank you,
Kevin

Oh! Oh! Me first!

Could I bolt this on without doing any other mods to my stock engine?

Ryan,
In the least to bolt this turbo on and go you will need bigger injectors, bigger fpr, and chips designed for more airflow. It is not just a bolt on and go upgrade to go to a bigger turbo. Seems like a good deal, good luck with the sale.

Is it a #6 or #8 hotside?

I really like this turbo - one on the track car and the same one on my street car.

Specs? What's the A/R? Is it a typical #8 hotside with Stage III?

Tempted. If there's an advantage over the t04E I've got. . . Maybe. . .

Hello All,
I don't know any of the specs on this turbo. It was on the car when I purchased it from a deceased owner. Kokeln has a limited description on their website. It may be worth a call to them if you need to find the specs, although most companies don't seem to want this info out. Like Brett, I had very good luck with this turbo. I am running a Lindsey super 61 on my new engine (came new with the engine). Dave told me that the Kokeln is very similar in spec to the supr 61.
As far as mods, it will depend on the boost level you want to run. I ran 18 psi and 55 lb. injectors.

That's also a dry turbo, meaning no water cooling.

one would need to get a 944 NA expansion tank and delete a few hoses here and there for it.

Oh well, I was going to get a guy to email you about it for his car. That was a good price on it.
