FS: 1987 944 Turbo
Well, due to a new baby and the need for a bigger car i'm saying farewell to my P-car. Although I could probably part this thing out for near this price, I'd rather see it go to a good home. Let me know if anyone has more questions or needs any more pics.

1987 944 Turbo Black Exterior/Black Interior, 5 Speed Manual, Sunroof, 17" Wheels and 129k miles. Asking $8500/o.b.o. A little less and I could part it out for more.
Unfortunately, I have a new addition to the family and this car will not support a car seat (at least not easily) despite having four seats.
The good:
I have put over $12,000 into this car in the last two years of ownership including a engine overhaul and many upgrades. The interior is nearly perfect except for some small dash cracks, the exterior is average for a car of this age and was repainted the factory color at some point in its life.

Rear Hatch cover lost one of its hooks (easy fix)
Cracks in dash
Small quarter size paint blister on hood near emblem (hard to see in pic)

Mike: Im sorry to hear that. You have a nice car with some really nice mods too. But, family priorities come first. I wish you well with selling the car, and my warmest wishes to you and your wife with the new baby.

God, your killing me here. Good thing you live so far away or I would be all over this like a fat kid on a smartie. Cliche I know but true. The only thing that would make it worse is if it goes to the garage of ill repute.....LART.....

Well, seeing as how Lart asked the question I guess I should consider not answering huh? 
Compression was 148, 147, 148 and 150 last time I checked. It's darn near perfect and the cylinder walls were spotless when I did the rebuilt (the rings were just worn). Here's some pics
Just to be clear, the crease runs along my right elbow in the pic (vertical).

Sorry, missed the last question. Yes, dyno chart of the run with 325HP/305ftlbs is available. The run was done to 5800RPM (i got scared...i'm a wuss) with cracked stock exhaust manifolds. Those manifold s were replaced last month with a TIG welded set of stockers that I wrapped with heat wrap.

Monoballs are nice. Much better than the play I had in the stock ones. They don't seem to make any extra noise and they were only marginally rougher than the stock rubber ones. The only downside was installation, which on the rear trailing arms was a pain!

Saw it on craigslist earlier and had a funny felling it was a rennlisters. If you would have put this up two weeks ago before I bought mine I would have given you cash right away. Amazing car!

Updated the list to include a blemish on the hood and the gauges installed in the car. Car has passed California smog two years in a row w/o any hassle, however technically it should fail visual. The good thing is that both referee stations I took it to didn't know what a 944 should look like so it wasn't a problem. Worst case, the future owner could consider buying the Vitesse adapter that uses the stock airbox (i'll include the airbox for free).
Oh...and I noticed a drop of oil on the floor this morning.
Looks like a small leak from the upper balance shaft cover but I cleaned up the area trying to isolate.
