Rogue..actually one can. They have a surgery that the break the thighs and shins and pull the bones apart (respectively) and 'bolt in' metal frame work that supports the bones to be able to walk and such and eventually the bones grow back but this time you gained like a fraction of an inch and such. It goes on for about 3 years but the end result is you can get taller by like 6 inches or so. Watched a program on th discovery channel about two years ago on this...very painful looking but you know...mostly girls that get it done.
But there's nothing they can do about that big assed head you'll have left over!

use it at your next party with friends...research on google of course, but you'll stun some people and get a whole new level of respect. Its the random things that make this life so wonderful. Like the way you can feed a mouse some alkaseltzer and it will explode internally...it really is amazing.
