Maybe "azbanks" referred to the Car & Driver issue from April (this year), which I did get. Aaron Robinson wrote a fun 1-page (page 28) article about our vintage Lambo driving exploits to and from Monterey.

For some reason long distance driving in old cars almost always become an event.

Fortunately the orders come in at "trickle speed", which suits me well.

Very interesting thread. Is there another thread where people are listing their calibrated EGT measurements from this standard location? I’m curious about what EGTs are safe and what indicate danger. This is an ideal measurement location for my purposes, before the turbine inlet but after all four pulses have been collected.

I would think 1700f would be pretty hot. I remember the gentleman at ferra valves told me their SS valves start to see issues at 1800f.

Anybody have their sender start to deform? Installed about 12 years in a track car.
