**URGENT** I cant get fluid to slave cyclinder
So I just replaced my slave cyclinder as My clutch pedal was sticking towards the floor and was barely pushing the clutch apart. When I pulled the slave I was expecting a bunch of fluid to come dumping on my face but nothing came out. Which seemed a little wierd. Now Im trying to bleed the slave but cannot for the life of me get any fluid to draw into the line or slave. WTF
Ive got the *** end jacked way up, my clutch pedal just falls to the floor, and zero fluid getting to the slave... Whats going on??? Is my clutch master toasted? Please help, im supposed to be to work in a couple hours

No, my floor boards are clean. I was just out pmping and bleeding for 10 minutes no prevail. Im afraid for my master cyl. Its weird because I have 0 leaks in the clutch system(at least what I can see)

Are you using jackstands or just jacking one side of the car in the air? I could not get it to bleed until the car was perfectly level. I didn't have jackstands and air kept working it's way around the wall in the resevoir.
Eventually I had to set everything up, lower the car, THEN bleed and it worked fine.

I bled mine for about an hour and I never got it fully back to normal. Sometimes it only comes up 3/4 of the way. I'm still trying to figure it out, but I just changed both my master and slave cylinders in April.

I suspect you are just having difficulties bleeding the air out. It is difficult to bleed the slave the old-fashion way. Air gets trapped in the slave and you can go at it for a Loooooong time without getting any pressure. I can usually get it started with a Mity-Vac, by sucking fluid into it. It still takes plenty of pumping and vacuum after that. The easier way is the Motive power bleeder. It will push fluid into the slave.

Make absolutely certain that the brake fluid resevoir is FULL, and I mean full into the neck full. The line comes off so high up that it only takes 2-3 pumps for the fluid level to drop enough for the clutch master to suck air.
Have a second person pump the pedal and always close the valve when they lift the pedal.

Another method I read somewhere is to unbolt the slave and slowly pump it a few times by hand. I did this and it got the process started but then it got air in again because the car was tilted.

I think im going to get a master tommorow and try it. I dont see any leaks at all. I have the rear of the car jacked way as clarks-garage states i should. I think i need a motive or something similar. Anyone in tampa have a power bleeder?

Before I got my Motive bleeder, I was able to bleed the clutch with a MityVac and a lot of patience. I'd use the MityVac to draw vacuum on the bleed screw, then depress the clutch, then open and close the bleed screw while the pedal is down. Repeat about 500 times or until the Motive arrives in the mail, whichever comes first. On a related point, if you have not changed the master and the line between the master than slave, you should do this now anyway. I changed the slave. Then changed the master. Then changed the line. For some reason, new components have a way of taking out the old ones on this system.
