Yes, but it was mentioned as if it is some sort of huge serious problem, when it couldn't possibly suffer from rust any more than Konis, Boges, etc. It's just not that big of a deal.

Koni yellows can be revalved, converted to double adjustable, converted to coilover, etc. Even with all of those mods done, they will still save a bundle over Escorts, JIC or some of the more expensive stuff. Short of Motons and some of the other 3+way adjustable more advanced stuff, Koni's with all of those mods can still provide 90% of the handling capability. I haven't been too impressed with the cars I've been in or driven with Bilstein Escorts. It's definitely better than stock, though it's not worth $2k+ IMO. I'm sold on KW Variant 3's after riding in a VW and Audi with them.
