Question World Record for Breaking the Header - 2X

So......

It's been a tough summer......Amongst fixing a sleu of things.....Now, I have to have the record for breaking the 2/3 pipe!!!

Here's the scoop.....Had the car in to fix some work that wasn't down right - One of the items that needed addressed was the cracked header - #3.

Had the original header put back on (Had it welded for reinforcement, just in case), pick the car up on Friday, AND, started hearing that "Hey, I'm cracked again" sound today... All it took was 2 days of driving - What is going on?? The second cylinder from the front is cracked again (Is that #3?).....What gives??? Is it my continued bad luck or something else? I have a 3" LR exhaust system on the car, no cat.

I sent my other 2/3 pipe to Markus Blazak for repair and for inserting the flex joint, I shoud have it back soon. Should I install that pipe ?? Or jjust pull the trigger and buy the SpeedForce Racing Stage I stainless system? DE is in two weeks and I am not going to miss this event, as it's the first one I get to do this year.

As always, I am kneeling to the Porsche wisdom on this forum and am ready to accept my destiny....

thx.

Cylinder closest to the front is #1.

Im sure Markus will be able to do a solid fix on it, so that might be the cheapest/easiest way to go.

I see you have an 86, did the PO get the updated headers installed?

How can you tell if you have the updated headers on an 86?

If memory servers me correctly, they added a bellows on the replacement header.
