Temprarily Banned per IB
The 928 owners on Rennlist are but a small percentage of all 928 owners, and only some percentage of those appear to be *insert explitive here*. You can't condemn the masses for what a handful of people say/do. Likewise I feel the action of banning Lart was as childish as the thread itself, and if saying that gets me banned, oh well, my life will go on.

Elitist snobs? Ok, someone tell me what a 928 guy has to be elitist about? I've never seen one at the track that was anything less than a roaming chicane that the rest of us had to drive around. 928 drivers at the track spend more time with their arm out the window than they do with both on the wheel. 928's are so ugly the mustang guys don't even want one. 928's are so heavy the owners put slim fast in the fuel tanks. 928's are so slow my girlfriend could pass one on the track driving her SUV which is funny since the 928 was the first SUV that porsche ever produced...
God, I could do this for hours...but then I would get banned. Instead I will say only that if you gave me a 928 it would sit in a storage lot miles from my house until I found a camaro owner who wanted it.
***NOTE*** No actual 928s were harmed in the making of this post, any feelings hurt were not my own, this post is for entertainment purposes only and if you think your 928 is faster than a 951 just bring it to the track..with your title. After I win it from you, you can watch me set your car on fire and we'll roast marshmellows and drink beer over it's ashes.

One car, one race track, maybe is the driver's skill who knows ? but it doesn't prove nothing, there are more 951 guys racing their cars than 928's that's for sure.
At it's introduction the 944Turbo S did out perform both the 911T and the 928, everybody knew it than. Just check this magazine article;

Funny thing is that at the end of your second video the car that was still in front of him was a 944 Turbo. Imagine that *lol* I know of a few cars that would wipe the floor with this one - but then again you added your own "no tube frame" rules. I guess we'll just have to settle for this one then:

Next thing you know you'll post how the 928 is faster than all 911's because look at how many they passed in that video
Oh, another thing. Don't bother sending me any more PM's. I have nothing to hide and neither should you. If you can't say it to the group don't say it at all.

I'm also wondering that if the 928 is the ultimate racing porsche how come so few of them are out there racing? You will find far more 944 Turbos and 911's on the track than 928's. And don't give me the BS because they are too expensive to race/modify. Just look at the 911's that are out there. Could it possibly be that they aren't as competitive?
The one 928 that was racing here was eventually ditched by the owner. He broke too many of those fancy rear suspension components and had enough with the DNF's that he decided to get something else. Probably ended up giving the car away for a song. At least he was a nice guy to talk to. Unlike other 928 owners it seems.

Why all the inter-Porsche bashing? Both the 928 and 944 share common ground and we should be brothers in wrenching. If we want to bash someone, let get the 911 boys
