The hole is because of the way the engine is situated, the cam gear housing would be "in" the hood if they didnt cut the hole. Same problem you have with going to dual cam gears on a 16v head.

The hole in the hood is for real. The idea is to mount a larger version of the 924 Carrera GT
airinlet on it. We tried an original one first but the whole was to large so it fell through.
The rearspoiler is a 9ff GT2 version on special aluminum mounts.
Be aware that it is the development car!!!!!

You know Powerhaus came up with a twin turbo version of the motor too. Thing is it was so expensive to even think of the production it wasn't worth it. Their version left the motor in it's original mounting position but I already had mine built so I didn't even ask about it. Glad someone did it....just because they can. very cool.

Wow!! Could be a good buy for the right person. Sure there would be some gremlins but nothing that can't be worked out. Not registered since 2005 seems a bit odd??
