Burning Brakes
Found out a bit more, they are currently finishing the car
"Car produced around 370hp on first dyno run. The costs for a modification like this would be around 17.000,00 to 20.000,00 euro including installation and exhaust and full services of all gaskets." Gearbox has to be adapted for the more vertical engine.
May have a few more photos tommorow (just checking its ok to post them)

17,000 - 20,000 Euro???? And all it makes is 370? HA! I would be seriously pissed if that's all I had to show for that amount of money (besides a totally cool engine layout). But something tells me that either that is seriously low balled or they have yet to turn up the boost...Now about those badass two tone wheels...

Well apparently that 370Hp is at 0.9bar and its the first run, The lag is much reduced over a single turbo. I expect some much bigger numbers can be achieved. I am quite pleased that one of the major tuners in Germany is developing the 944 after all these years.

Well 370hp is more than what BMW's new 3.0l twin turbo engine produces ( 306hp/400Nm ).If it's with low boost, then there's more to come, and I'd like to see dyno sheets!
More pictures,please!

Super cool project! But some things are strange... With all that hassle to tilt the engine up, why not redo or remove (go standalone) the cam gear housing. Or even replace the cam gear with something smaller. If they did, I don't think it would be necessary to cut the whole hood up.
