that's the exact setup I'm using... second set. LOVE them. I'm tempted next time to try the re71's... I've used the RE11's on street and track.

Those tread blocks scream squirm to me... I guess if they were for wet conditions...

I've had RE-11's on my turbo since last summer and like them so much I put them on my S as well. They're sticky enough and are quiet on the highway. I was concerned about tread wear but so far it doesn't seem to be an issue. When I bought my last set, 225/50/16's were in short supply, but tire rack seems to have sufficient inventory now. 10/10 for my use.

I have re760 sports and like them a lot. My dad has an s2k with bfg kdw2 and they are incredible. That will be my next set if they are still available. They are on par with the s02s that he had on the car from new.

11 years???? You could mount up SUV tires and be blown away. Tire technology has improved a lot in a decade. Any summer tire will far exceed your fuzions.

I'm sure that's right! RE-11's should arrive tomorrow...

If I had any complaint about the potenza. They are very sticky I can drag the rocker panel when they get up to temperature, also I flat spotted a pair of fronts once. That sucked. Off to Costco for a new set...

RE-11's are on the car and seem great. They are quiet, civil, and stick like glue. Easily the best tire I've ever had on this car -- by a country mile. Amazing what a decade of technological advancement can do...

So happy you got new shoes and like them! Many of my nightmares revolve around cool cars destroyed by hard driving on old tires.
