Wait a minute. . . You said that you pressurized the intake. Where did you pressurize? At the throttle body, or at the MAF connection? If you pressurized at the MAF connection, then you also pressurized the AOS and the crankcase, which would blow oil out of every marginal seal on the engine. Please tell me you didn't do that.

Dal, the more I think about it, it seems a check valve would keep the case under vac and keep the boost out. Just install it in the AOS vent line.

As bad as these seal/s are leaking, the case is nowhere near getting ventelation and I'm sucking up un-metered air.

There is never any boost going into that line. You never have to worry about it because it is pre-turbo in the system. So it sees vac all the time, even when on boost.

Good point!

Soo, in addition to leaking AOS seals, I'm still loosing boost somewhere.

Is the one-way valve that keeps boost pressure OUT of the brake booster working? Or are you pressurizing your brake booster also? Since you took out the venturi from under the intake and plumbed the brake vacuum line from the intake to the booster directly, did you make sure that you have a working one way valve at the connection to the brake booster? It's easy to test, wiggle it out and blow through it. It should easily blow (from the side that gets plugged into the booster) and if you suck through it should close, not allowing you to suck any air (keeps the boost out).

Did I make that clear?

If not, then there is a good chance that you could have blown the brake booster, which would also explain the honking noise you described earlier.

Derek, a quick test run proved it!

This thing sounds like a mini air-raid horn from about .5 bar and I cant make over 1 bar

Lets See,

The only vac loss I found was pre turbo..
The howlling is on boost.. but didn't happen while pressing the charge side..
BOV holds vac..
Removing ISV has no effect..
Brake boost check valve holds..

Damnit! Where's Danno or NZ!

Not even a new turbo elec cooling pump has brought me favor in the eyes of the P Gods.

Dal, I was talking about the little blue one to the small vac line..

I just checked the one at the brake housing, it holds. But that's where my thinking is moving, into secondary systems.

I hear boost venting to the MAF plenum before hitting 1 bar. Could the k27 be making more bost than the stock BOV can handle and is leaking by?

No, I wish it was hissy.

Take a standard civil air raid siren, stand a mile away and stay in front of the horn, now bring the tone and volume up to one bar and hold it, until you let off the gas. Repeat as neccessary to **** you off.

let me get this straight you are or aren,t making full boost? sometimes the hoses can get small cracks that open up under boost check your connections at your profec and wastegate also check the blow off-double check routing and condition of all your lines-if all else fails find a shop with a smoke machine i have one of these things they are a godsend in finding small leaks good luck!
