Let me say I wanted more clutch than I would need so Stage 2 and copper/ceramic 6 puck, because I went thru a period of clutch problems after my 2.8 build, the cup clutch lasted 1500 miles and I then went with a kevlar disc and cup pressure plate ( witch is nothing more than a stock pressure plate the disc makes the "cup" package ) that lasted 1500 miles also slipped like butter on the dyno, come to find out the pressure plate had a crack in it. Sooooo.... after 2 *&^%$#@$% clutch changes in a short period of time, no fun at all. I wanted to put an end to clutch issues.

I ended up with a combo that does not slip, is a on the agressive side but I do daily drive with no problems.

Okay, now you are talking my language. Is better to be safe than sorry, well stage II it is.
David, did you buy the puck ceramic bronze from paragon as well?

Thanks David, is there any advantage in buying the one with springs over the solid one?

lart: I think clutch engagement is the advantage of the sprung vs unsprung. With the sprung you can modulate the clutch with the pedal whereas with the unsprung it's more like an on/off switch. I would go sprung.

David: Does your clutch chatter?

Yes, take off at 1500 rpm or better to be smooth

So in a unsprung clutch you have to take off at even greater rpm's? is that what you are saying David?

I have never used an unsprung, so I can't say.

My sprung centered is smooth with 1500 rpm take off

Lart from my research a spring centered clutch is smoother than a solid disc.

I've decided to go with the KEP stage 2 PP. I'm leaning towards the bronze disc
but would like to hear from Jimbo or someone else how it works first.

How many of us are looking into getting a KEP PP? Group buy maybe?

Thanks I am also going for the sprung disc but i will go with the kep stg I PP , special tool told me that the stage II is too hard on the clutch master cylinder and could lead to the cyl failure.
