Anyone know how much lighter these are vs the OEM sunroof?

My Saratoga weighs 5lbs and my stock sunroof weighs 7lbs.

I'll bet if you find an add for a framed one without the mention of 'Saratoga' in the add, you'll probably get a better deal. From what I've read on this thread, I'm guessing they were all made by Saratoga, but the earlier framed ones weren't marked with 'Saratoga'. I wasn't suggesting that the framed one's were going for less, but rather that the 'Saratoga' sunroofs commanded more $.

Gotcha.. I understand. Yes, when I look for a top on e-bay, I use the search word "saratoga". Any 944 top auction that forgets that word will probably get 10% of the number of hits, and likely a much lower selling price. As far as I know, Saratoga is the ONLY glass top for the power roof 944 series. If you see another one that forgets that magic word, let me know, will ya? A guy could double his money for re-writing an advert!
