I would be all over a group buy on an adjustable 968 wing that fits the 944 hatch.

AIR sells this one for $800.

Even though it says for late S2/968 cars, it can be made to fit the 951/944 hatch, many here have done so with the 968 standard wing and this would be no different in mounting application. This is the one most everyone will want. Can you get a price for it on the GB? And also check on the trim pieces?

Their price says 1200 so he gave us a deal at $860. The pic u showed is the same thing they make for the 944 but it won't directly fit on without other peices that is why he has in the new products gallery it showed the 968 adjustable wing for 944's

If u want the 968 wing for a 968 hatch i can get a discount on that for you too probably but i will have to ask but it won't fit 944's directly wihtout other peices

the 968 turbo RS spoiler fits the glass no worries. but you need to also buy the three trim pieces and they are not cheap. AIR sell them but they buy them from porsche so expect to pay porsche prices. in Australia each side trim is $460 au and there is two of them and the rear piece is $680 au thats from porsche. AIR gave me a quote on the trim bits and it ended up being the same after changing currencies.

For the people who already have a 968 wing on their cars (and thus the trim pieces), a good price on the TRS replica will probably get them to move on this deal. It wouldn't be prohibitive cost-wise.

20%? So the TRS wing on the yellow car above would be $640 plus shipping, not including the trim pieces?

Question:
When adding a rear wing like this to a stock 951 hatch, is it true that the stock spoiler gets totaled when removing it.
In other words if you choose to go this route... is there no going back ??
I have always wanted just the stock 1990/91 ( export) spoiler but I am sure that part costs, an arm and a leg
TIA
Ed

My stock spoiler that I removed is perfectly fine, they don't get totalled when you remove them. They simply bolt on/off.

Daniel, I understand your point on costs, but honestly I think that thing for the 944 that sorta looks like the 968TRS wing looks really bad. Too fast and furious for me. I understand what they were trying to do, but it doesn't look good. Maybe better pics of it from different angles and in a finished paint state would change my mind, but I doubt it.........

Thanks for working on the GB.

not true i removed my stock spoiler two days ago and it came off easy without breaking. there is 7 screws at the back( you have to take the hatch pins out). two screws either side and 6 or so special nuts that have to come off. for those special nuts i modified a screwdriver. you will see what i mean when you see them

I figured alot of people were needing parts over the winter and i haven't seen a group buy in quite a while. Later on i am going to ask speedforce about a group buy since i might need a downpipe

So no company makes fiberglass trim pieces to mount the rest of the 968 Turbo RS Rep wing on a 944/951? That just doesn't make sense.

Default Has anyone...

come up with a 951-look rear wing that is paintable fiberglass or something? I like the look/style of the stock wing, but would prefer it not to be the flat black rubbery material. Something with the same shape but hard and paintable would fit the bill for me...
