Evil, I think Derrek is talking about the compressor not the turbine.

Derrek,
He will index the compressor once installed in the car.
Its only 6 bolts to loose and turn the housing to index correctly.

Default TEFLON Grease

Hi Duke:

DuPont KRYTOX is an excellent fluoropolymer grease. They have various grades. Otherwise Redline Synthetic is hard to beat.

Good luck!

Long time no update...
More info about status coming later... Here's some new pics in the meantime.

The new wheels, Gemballa LeMans. 9"x18" with currently too narrow 225/40-18. Rear sizes are modest 11"x18" with 285/30-18 :P

Other pics show some new projects for the front end and blasted and powder coated parts for the chassis. It's all in the details..

Long time no update...

Well, sad to say, Mr Skunk disappeared with my engine block, head, oil cooler housing and intercooler!

So you can say that this %&Q"#E¤Q"#¤ project didn't go as planned so there will be no riding in this car until next season..

In the meantime I've purchased some new parts such as a Tial 44 v-band wastegate and a Tial 50 mm BOV. Those parts are so goddamn nice its scary.

We'll see what happens this winter but anything below 400 rwhp next year and I will never even look at this car again.

I can't really believe he scammed me, it just doesn't make sense.
I haven't paid him anything and those parts aren't worth going below the surface for.

He's a knowledgeable and nice guy so I'm sure there is some kind of explanation.

But unfortunatly that doesn't change the fact that I handed my engine parts over to him in December and haven't heard from him since March.

And that is reason that I haven't been able to drive this car all summer...

Yes, this is what sounds most likely.

I want to clarify that I don't think he scammed me, but I'm still pissed off of the fact that I don't have my engine parts anymore!

true I would be pissed if some of my parts were MIA and I was waiting to finish my car. Do you have any contact information like a name you can look up to find his number or address or something?
