Default missing screw above throttle

Can anyone help with this lil problem ive encountered?
I was under the hood the other day and noticed that i was missing a screw above the throttle body, I know certainly that something was there previously, and i cant imagine how the screw came out, but its definatly missing.

MS Paint baby

i edited a pic to show where it should be, is it an important part?
should i be concerend that it is missing?
what does it do?

thanks for all the help
Anthony

That is the idle screw, you need it to set the idle on the car. It is pretty cheap, ~$4 or so from Lindsey or you could try Paragon.

You should be fine, as long as it is temporary (avoid going on boost and suddent brakes, that is considered to be a vaccum leak).

There are a few articles on how to adjust the idle, mainly here and yes, the engine must be warm.
