and also to be more specific of this sound... it kinda rattles

i'm pretty sure he means redline additive, or maybe he's just using redline completely. either way, i'm sure it's the lifters, there's no real damage being done if it just goes away after a few seconds, on mine i hear "ticka, ticka,ticka,ticka" then normal idle. also, what oil are you using? if you go to thicker oil, it'll probably be considerably less.
