YOU GUYS ARE STUPID! I'm badass and the *****' of all power builders 'cause now I have a machine I can beat all the grandmas in my neighorhood with! That stupid kid down the street with the Acura? Beat him. By a full car length too! I also beat his buddy with the souped-up Honda! By TWO car lengths. I'm so cool! And yes I beat Vitesse and Special Fool and Dfastest as well. You guys suck. I also beat Michael Schumacher in his F1 car. I rule. My car makes 800 RWHP and 1,240 torque. And I have dyno sheets to prove it. Chevy makes the awesomest engines ever. Your Porsches are crap! I'm leaving now to go tend to my twice-daily *****-enlargement pump ritual.

Those pics are priceless. Who wants to place bets on when Pre-Duh-tor ends up spinning that thing into a wall cause it's got no brakes?

Hey ST, the 'experts' say that your car is not streetable, so stop taking your kid to school in it everyday! Damned irresponsible of you. Can't believe this. Call family services quick!

Don't be too hard on them. With all that inbreeding they can't help it. They can not get their heads around such things as technology and them new things called "computers"
Think about the mindset it takes to dismantle a highly engineered piece of machinery and then take the typical redneck approach "well, I don't understand it, so I gotta pull it out and put a V8 in it"
Only then can they understand it. Oh, and only driving in a circle making left turns all day. "YEEEEE HAWWWW, NOW THAT'S SOME RACING"
Once again, taking highly advanced F1 and GT endurance racing and "rednecking it" so they can understand it. A V8 hybrid person can not get their heads around the physics of making right turns, braking, and accellerating. They can only handle "mash the gas, turn left, repeat"

Feel free to copy and paste my post in thier site, whoever started this thread.
I am used to educating the "V8" crowd. I live in an area, only 10 min outside Orlando, but is more rural and a lot more rebel flags and what not. Constantly hearing at lights or in slow traffic "Is that some new Toy Yo ta??"
They hit the gas, I hit the gas and nothing is better then beating a V8 redneck in a straight line. Since they now that was the only chance they had.

IMO I think that the work of a guy like Special Tool with the backing of Vitesse or Lindsey is very important. I don't think that the idea necessarily needs to be "streetable" power but rather the "state of the art" of what can be done with these cars.
Any of us that modifies our cars is benefiting from spin offs of people who dared to push the limit of these motors. As our cars age we need people with the will and the talent to bring new and different ideas to table. It is up to the individual to pick and choose their application and then they have the benefit of the work that has been done on these super high output cars to know what can be done. Nothing but good stuff here guys! Keep the innovations comming!

Exactly SD, pushing the envelope.
It they weren't so envious, they would be happy to see the auotmotive advancements.
