Default BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW

I have been looking around for tires and so far the best ones I found were these KDW's. The reviews and ratings in Tirerack are among the highest right up there with the Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position and Michelin Pilot Sport PS2. I see a lot of people here like the Fuzion, but these are about $100 more for all 4 and have better ratings both dry and wet. I want them for street use and they are going on 17" wheels. Best price I found was $608. for all four, 225/45-17 front and 255/40-17 rears. Any opinions, testimonials or feedback?

They're excellent tires, great grip, good in wet, and pretty long lasting. Not expensive either.

I looked at them as well and decided that I wasn't going to use $100 worth of performance over the Fuzions on the street. Ask those who have tracked and autoX theirs and how they have performed and held up.

I had very poor results out of the KDWs I had on my Firehawk recently. Much, much worse performance all around than the Fuzions that replaced them. Very poor wet traction, tons of road noise, and suprisingly even the dry traction wasn't as good as the Fuzions. My wife also had the same views without any prompting or leading questions. I'm sure we could have just had a bad set, but I'LL NEVER buy another set of KDWs again, heck even if someone gave me a set I'd ebay them and buy something else.

Default That Bad?

Wow, that sucks. I guess I'm gonna go with the Fuzions, majority rules, right? I can get a set for just over $500, and everyone can't be wrong, I have a friend who has the ZRI on his '89 turbo S with 17" Cup 1 Wheels for 8 months and he's very happy with them
