Default Well, I promised you guys before 2006.......Vitesse S3 with SFR headers DYNO

Okay - configuration:
-2.5 liter 8 valve
-Vitesse stage 3
-Andial cam
-Tial 38mm
-Kep PP, ceramic disk, Fidanza flywheel
-24-25 PSI boost
-EGT's.....cool

This is the same dyno as my 472 RWHP run.
I have made 2 changes since:
-SFR stage 2 headers
-Vitesse wasted spark

I will post the direct dyno comparison between WS and distributor in my WS thread later this evening - the difference is substantial - BOTH power AND the smoothness of the dyno curve - which is VERY PLAIN TO SEE ON THE DYNO AT 18 PSI. The power rose 20 RWHP at this level with the Vitesse ignition

In my opinion, the SFR headers are responsible for 40 RWHP and A HUUUUUGE INCREASE IN TORQUE - 35 ft/lb INCREASE

Please see power level at bottom right corner of graph and in text/load file

Wow! 500 ponies from a 2.5L!!! Very impressive. What's up with that torque/hp dip around 6400rpm? Are your air/fuel ratios dialed in?

Good job, now go to work and make some $$..
I guess I need to speed up the cam project... Your cam is not doing much over 6000rpm.

Add to the obove description the "Vitesse Sledge Hammer" head.

The dip is the cam - plain and simple. I can feel it. It is an old Andial cam and it is very conservative street cam

It makes the 533 at only 6000 RPM - but this time I did rev to 6700 - the cam just gives up on me. You can see this in my 472 run from the same dyno 4 months ago.
Vitesse is developing some cams for me....
We'll get her to 600 RWHP yet........oh, with 550 RWTQ also!!!!!

ST,
Wow, that is a LOT of power. Congrats on breaking the 500 hp barrier...

What really amazes me is that power combined with how much lighter your car is.... It must be crazy fast. Any numbers on 60-100mph or something along the lines?

Sorry I couldn't make it down, pal.

Given this criteria, you just halted any cam development LOL.. You are not very demanding are you?

Default Awesome Job ST & VR Racing!

ST: Holy Cow dude, you are the Goddam Man! On a 2.5L, 533 RWHP on a load-type dyno? And I can say is wow!

Outstanding job to both you and Vitesse Racing for breaking all kinds of records. You guys just keep pushing and pushing the envelope with these cars. And you want to shoot for 600RWHP now? Can you please take it easy for the rest of us, damn!

Ted: I don't know what the deal is with NZ951 or Match-thing, or whatever, but, can you please update if possible the HP List? ST has rightfully earned the number 1 spot.

Defastestnomore: Sorry Joe, Powerhaus just got bumped by a 2.5L. You and I better get our butts in gear now!

Great Job ST!!
