Do either of the harnesses offered fit under the stock fuel rail cover? They look pretty thick on Lindsey's site, and there isn't much room under the cover.

ehall,
$149-119 = 30, I'm pretty sure.

http://www.lindseyracing.com/Merchan...ode=INJHARNESS

Sorry, looks like 149.95, so it's a $30.95 difference.

Great idea on the heat shrink Tim... last thing you want the that stuff to fray! Looks like you have picked a top quality wrap too.

ehall,
np, just trying to put the facts out there. I'm not affiliated with either company, but I do like to buy the best stuff for my POS.

After some pics I may be in also. I'd rather support a rennlist sponsor.

Shrink tubing should not be in a hot setting. It will continue to shrink, get hard, and
crack off over time. Then you have a harness that frays.

Count me in. I assume they include new injector clips as well.

I have heat shrink on my complete Performance Development harness... I have had it about two years now and the heat shrink on the connectors looks and feels like brand new. This shrink is on most every part of the harness where there is a join or cause to hold sections together. I trust PD and SFR on the use in their harnesses.

PS Stewardx, have you thought about becoming a site sponsor given you are a Lindsey Racing representative?

Hmm, in that case we don't need heat shrink or heat sheated lines at all. Even a normal harness will look like new after 2 years.

BTW, does the fuel rail get so hot that it needs 1200F heat sheating to protect the wires that runs along it? Does the connectors and the injectors also withstand this heat?

PS, Stewardx, it seems that your off NZ951's ignore list. Good job

I had to take him off sadly to manage the HP list... it was not my choice to take him off. Its nice to see Lindsey Racing represented here, but when he comes on talking smack about a sponsors product thats not fair play.
