Did you use these instead of the stock exhaust studs? Why? What's the difference?

I want to grab the Saturn exhaust studs for my head, which nuts should I use? Porsche original? Copper? Generic replacement? Whatever the Saturn uses?

Also, are the intake studs the same size as the exhaust? Can I just order the same stud/nut combo for both sides of the head?

Most of the 4 banger cavaliers use the same studs as well. They are like a E-20 size. I have several heads around with them in them. Never thought of using them. I used bolts so the head will come off easier. Just have to be very careful putting them in! On the studs I would use a nut that has a flange so it will seal better and you won't have to mess with washers.

The intake manifold on the 951 uses the same size as the exhaust. I thought using studs instead of bolts on the intake manifold to better hold the gaskets in place while installing and remove the intake.

There should be studs for the manifold, too.
I converted my intake manifold to studs, using exhaust maniflod studs and nylon locking nuts. Its real nice, and so worth it, but you must remove 3 of the studs to pull the head.

can you please post which three these are, I think I will emulate.
