Slight OT: How much ski gear can you fit in a 951? (Pics inside)
Took the 951 skiing today (Yes, I know! It's May 7th.) There is one ski resort still open in the Montreal area: Mont St-Sauveur. About 40 minutes north of Montreal.
Yesterday was my 46th birthday and my 15 year-old suggested we go skiing as a birthday gift (He was actually thinking of himself; I love to ski but he would ski year-round if he could).
Anyway, I wanted to drive the 951. The amount of stuff that can fit in the back is amazing. Check this out: 2 pairs of skis, 2 pairs of boots, poles, helmets, etc. And still room to spare!
Yes there is snow on two runs. The "70" and the "Nordique". Both classified black diamond (expert level). Here I am posing by the 951 with my son's skis and the two runs in the background:

Thats Nothing. I went with 3 people in my 944 up the mountains during the worst storm of the year! Only got stuck twice.
Anyways, we had 3 snowboards with boots/bindings, and all of our jackets and a change of clothes. Sure, it was a low rider.

haha that is the worst ski hill ever. Our hills are open until May 23rd out there. I would never take my 44 skiing though, all your wet skis and clothes will trash the carput and theres danger of the edges doing some damage as well.

That's nothin... I, Like serge, took with me 2 friends, and all of our gear. one of the guys is about 7 foot tall...he's HUGE. Therefore, he has very long skiis. So, loaded my 924S with the 3 of us (shorter guy in back), all of our gear, which included 2 snowboards and a pair of really long skiis, and a set of long poles, boots, etc. no problem...
Then I did the cheap way and bought a ski rack.
