I have a set for an 86 turbo. But when i looked at the PO recepits it said they were replaced because the car wouldn't rev above 3500rpm. Other things where changed then too(spark plugs, distributer, wires, fuel pump, etc..) so i dont know if the chips were the problem.

My autothority chipset had a small restrictor in the stock banjo bolt that you can unscrew with a flathead screwdriver, bringing you down to stock boost levels. Yours should be the same...
