hot damn! She looks great congrats. Lindsey sure knows their stuff. I think this will be one of the very few 500+rwhp 951's on pump fuel! The only guys I have ever hered of making that kind of power in a 51' were all using very high boost levels and race gas. Your built short block with full garret turbo will make plenty of power given the displacement increase.

Just for ****s and giggles I wouldn't still mind seeing 25psi and race fuel. Hmmmm 550-560rwhp. Ahhh to dream.

Your car is quite lovely and I hope you get to enjoy her soon. If I were in your shoes I prolly wouldnt be sleeping much these days.

Very nice results. I can't believe that you were able to get that kind of hp with 55lb injectors. My 52's maxed out at 355 rwhp.

RolexNJ,

That car looks great and I am sure will give you many years of joy. You should do a 60-130 mph run and see what your time is if you get the chance. I have never seen a 3 liter 951 run this and it would be very interesting.

I'm intending to use 55lb/hr injectors on my car and have been assured it will be ok to run 18psi on a 2.8 lump of not too far disimilar spec.

porshhhh951: Thanks John! I wish right now I could run higher boost. I wanted very much to break that 500RWP mark. In due time though. But I would like to do a few "glory runs" for the hell of it. Throw on the next size up or two a/r, crank of the boost to 21, 22, 24 - just to see what it can do for a 3.0L 8V. I mean hell, if Rage2 is running 21 PSI + all the time, why can't I run higher boost? I'll keep you posted!

jimbo1111: I know, isn't wild that I got that out of 55lbs injectors?

v944god: You want a ride, ha! I need to get it back first and drive it myself!

Just a note, since you used 53 psi static fuel pressure they aren´t really 55´s anymore. To be exact, they flow 637 cc/min (60.7 lb/hr) at that pressure.

BTW, a BSFC of 0.50 and 530 crank HP will yield a duty cycle of 99% on 60.6 lb/hr injectors.
So while it´s not really desirable, it works

Duke: I know, but thanks for saying that anyway! If you followed the thread, there is a reason why I am only using 55 lbs injectors, and not 72 lbs. ones. If I could, I would use the 72 ones now. In the future I will go back up, and then will run moore boost too. But for now, I am very happy with the RWHP, but more so my TQ curve.

Wow! That is really impressive. Congrats RolexNJ! I have to admit, that dyno is as pretty as mine, it really is. Hey, wait a minute. Were you poking fun at me back there with the 200k cost bit? lol. I know I spent a ton. That's what going through 4 motors gets you. Keep it up and I just may have to give up my screen name...or go back to Powerhaus
Enjoy and keep us posted.

DFASTEST951: You are funny. And hey, its just all good fun, right. But 4 motors? Damn. That's a lot of lap dances, isn't it? So for "now", you are still the fastest 951! But, give me some time

HOS: I knew you had to add your 2 cents. Whose side are you on?
