This is a bit odd... zero changes made to car, "old" run sees peak torque 406ft-lbs at 4,400rpm... the "new" run (remember zero changes made), sees peak "flywheel" torque circa 393lb-ft at 6,200rpms. Thats pretty confusing.

You would still need 93lb injectors running at 100% duty cycle to get 625BHP as noted...

Power: 625 horespower
Number of injectors: 4
BSFC: 0.60
Duty cycle: 1

This combination will require 984 cc/min injector (93.8 lbs/hour)

The pressure on the rail would still need to be 100 psi to get to that power level and that's driven at 90%.

JChen, you cannot run injectors at 100%, they squirt fuel instead of atomizing it and the probabiltiy of the injector locking up is VERY high. I try to keep the duty cycle at a maximum of 80% for saftey. If it needs to be higher than that go up a size in injector or raise fuel pressure if the gap is small enough.

Man, I go to bed and the gloves come off!!!! See what I errrrrrr......I mean you guys started...............

Hey Guys,
55 or 72 lbs whatever. I'll be happy like clappers if my engine
is making that kind of power. Hmmm looking at the chart the
turbo must be a biggy,

I will take the rap for this one

PS see the completely odd torque rpm and peak numbers in the charts I posted? Or am I missing something???

You are right J Chen, nice to have over 400WHP for sure!

Yeah I see it. It could be just the difference in the way each dyno loaded the car. It is possible by changing the load cell calibration to "inflate" the results. But that would not be ethical or morally correct!!!! I am sure NOONE would consider doing that................

Yes, I know you can change the load increments to be really small on the dynopacks... But that would mean the first dyno chart was loaded... all very strange. Some kind of summary and conculsion is required to give closure.

Rob: Why don't you install the bigger injectors, fill the tank with race gas and run 24psi? i sheer to think what power level you would be in, 620+whp?? don't forget, you're MAF is in need of a new wire and imagin installing MAF chips? (another 20+whp or so)........

Dude, serioulsy, congratulations to you and Lindsey (for building this beast) as well as the local tuner, who fine tuned the car on the dyno......seriously, it seems as if everyone is pushing the envelope for these cars now.

PS: I never took MTH 101, nor is it available here at the AIU in Dubai campus, we start at MTH111 onwards. I guess we are just advanced in MTH here LOL

while i am not taking sides, i must admit that it IS valid to discuss how those numbers can be made with those injectors.

it would be for everyone's edification. if i posted that i'm running 21 psi on my stock KKK 26/6, i would fully expect that to be questioned publicly.
