Looks like a nice weekend project. I need to get my car running first, though.
Thanks for the tip, Jan Ove!

I think it looks like the instructions are wrong, but I am not sure.

Anybody got pictures of the throttle body with the spring?

I found a (bad) picture of the throttle body spring in this thread:

To me it looks like this spring is not installed the same way as it is described in the instruction from Arnnworx!

Just got mine in today too and will be getting started soon. I already read through the instructions and I was wondering how you guys peened the screw? Its a little confusing for me, whats the whole point of this step. Can you guys give me some more detail.

I just put the spring back to the place/position it was in before ..

Hi guys... Will appreciate any help in correcting the instructions. Of the 3 picutes that Janove forwarded, the lower 2 are of the cable side of the TB. The other one is of the TPS side and it seems to support what Andrew and Janove have said in that there is room for the two o-rings on the TPS side, while the cable side has only room for one o-ring. In my instructions, I have that backwards. Will fix that.
On the spring, I think we're talking about the positioning of the spring that goes around the shaft, and specifically, is it correct for that spring to be lipped over the mounting for the idle stop screw. Blod's photo appears consistent with how I do it. Am I missing something here?... Bruce;]
Moving those instructions to an online space (with color photos) has been on my to do list for a couple of weeks, will do it tonight so we can all see the details.

Look at the spring in this thread:

https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turbo-and-turbo-s-forum/118784-where-is-the-idle-adjustment-screw.html

I think this is the right way to do it.

Otherwise you will not be able to open the trottle-plate 100%.

Bruce, I took a look at the instructions once again.. as far as re-assembly I think they are correct regarding position of the spring.

But I would anyway suggest that people pay extra attention to the way things are positioned before taking appart..It makes it a lot easier..
