nope - let me explain - the outside dish is the same on both rims - the spoke profiles are the same - the pad thickness is different - mine is thicker, by exactly the difference in offset, thereby moving the rim out farther on the car (larger offset) - the extra thickness is the extra weight

and no, both cup 1 and cup 2 rims are cast, as are the mms - in fact, almost all posche rims are cast - forged rims are entirely different

If I had 60k to spend as I wished, I would buy a guards red, 1995, 993, your wheels and tires, and a lot of other stuff for my two 5,000 dollar 951's. and flip a few 20's at some of the homeless guys I see when I'm cruising around in whichever of my two 951's happens to be running at the time. It's all a matter of taste.
