Fantastic. Your video's always amuse me. That looks seriously impressive! Although you havn't dyno'd it yet you must be somewhere in the 400 at the flywheel area. That really pulls in gear on your 0-100 video!!

Nice runs. Now where's that dyno chart? I'm interested to see what kind of power is required to hit 12's.

"someone there let me throw on their track wheels for a few passes, with slicks, and WOW, I dropped almost half a second off my 1/4 time, and my 60ft improved like crazy. The fun ended when I snapped an axle; fourth or fifth run with the slicks."

That's amazing how much difference slicks make.

Thanks guys for the support. I was hopping no one would bash me since i went to the strip with it.

Sound good Ted.

NZ951, No clutch slipping problem at all.

John, i also think it will be hard to go under 1.9 60ft.
If i can get a run in with out to much wheel spin and not bog. Then i should hit 12.25 - 12.5 easy. The LSD will help me on that.
I will get more video footage next time.

Dark,
I really need to get my car on a dyno soon. I will keep you guys posted on it.

Ben,
Happy you like my small video's. I need to get some better videos.
I will work on getting my friend to film better.
I need a better camera since my video camera is a digt. photo camera.

Yes, free yahoo webspace does that from time to time. But its free.

I could try and reduce the quality of the picture on my site to make it less bandwidth hungry.

You can still see the video from the strip with the link on page 1.

Drag racing IS track racing as far as I'm concerned, and those are great times. Congrats!

with 400rwhp you should be trying to hit low 12's at that point...anything more than that and you should be trying to hit a high 11....I realize 951s are hard to drag but, everything takes skill. You get better and better the more you do it. I think 400rwhp on dr's would be a low 12 with the right setup. You would need to be knocking on the door of 450+rwhp to get anything into the 11's I would think....without slicks ofcourse... as someone has already pointed out slicks make a huge difference. Suddenly a mid 12 sec car becomes a 12 flat or even a high 11 sec car.....then boom stuff starts to snap.

I say get you some dr's heat them up a little get a good 2.0 60ft and let the hp do the rest. You should hit a low 12...and you would be my hero. lol.

your trap speed is what I am basing this off of. Your trap is high enough for the ET. you just need to change your setup some.

Thanks guys,
I will install my new LSD transmission and go back to the track to see if it helps.
I'm sure i can bring it down under 12.5.

Drag radials would help alot but not sure if i want to invest some $$ in a drag setup.

Does anybody know what is the fastest a 951 has gone down the 1/4?

I think Rage may have hit 11's. Though it may be early 12's. I remember it was impressive.
