Default Easiest job ever, a must do for every turbo owner.

Just removed the intercooler to clean it out.

Took about 45mins in total.

Use petrol and it certainly done the trick. Fair bit of oil in it. Final run throught with detreagant then hose down.

Definatly an easy way to keep the engine in top condition, cheaper then octane booster.

LOL, yeah gas is about $2.50-$3.00 a gallon. Simple Green about $4.00 - $5.00 a gallon.

Not only that but can still use the petrol in the lawnmower so it’s not as if its wasted. And petrol is about £4 or about $7.50 a gallon over in the UK!!!

I paid $2 to hire the steam cleaner! Not extracting the urine either.

Slim: I did that sometime in fall, the car drove MUCH smoother.

I actually had bird feathers and all sorts of insects there seriously!

Just use a remote crankcase breather; that's where most of the oil comes from.
Then the job becomes even easier; you never have to clean it.

I should say it more accurately.
Modified crankcase breather that doesn't route the fumes/oil back to the intake like the stock configuration. Many ways of doing this.
If you search, there's tons of discussions on this.

I know what you are talking about, i took my intercooler out probabley 3 days ago and used simple green to clean it out. Should have seen all the oil come out of it!!!

p.s. Simple green may cost 7.00$ but it will supply over 100 gallons of water
