Wow!
Ive been taking apart my car this last week so i can go get my alternator rebuilt. Well to get the alternator out i had to take the turbos intake out little did i know. Once i took it off it was like damn thats where the turbo is haha. Regardless i took some pics of her. I was glad to see that she had no play at in the turbine. Only thing I CANT BELIEVE how small it looks! i thought for sure that it would be bigger than a half dollar. Its quite a learning experience. Soon the modifications will start and i can see that that will be when the REAL fun starts.. ugh..
But here they are...

oil in the compressor of the turbo... If you feel so inclined, you should track that down. the less oil your burning the more power your going to see. (not that much, but hey) Could be oil/air seperator, or the turbo itself.

Its the black thingy with the yellow cap where you put oil in. You will see it has a port on the left side where the hose comes off to go to the itake.

I definatly agree deitz. I just had always had the impression that it would be bigger. Im very impressed that something of its size can do that much.

Oh, now a head joke. You're really pissing me off!
NOT! ;-)
Yes, that head was a thing of beauty when it was done, but damn it took 8 bent valves to motivate me to do it. I rebuilt the engine 2 years ago but skipped the "head job" to save $$. Turns out that was a good move. Last summer I did a belt job and incorrectly tightened the tensioner stud. Two weeks later it snapped off and let the belt go all floppy. Argggh! So now the rebuild is complete!
