john i think all of those are good options to offer. i've been meaning to talk to you about the water injection for a while and simply haven't had the time. i think you need to be prepared for slow sales on items like full engines though, most 951 owners are too cheao (myself included) to buy fully prepped engines.

In all fairness I have been pissing in John's pocket for ages about water injection, but it looks like it will only be in the SMT configuration... sadly.

Whats the water injection do exactly? Is it a good thing to have?

How about a standalone system John?, I dunno what required to make one but with the knowledge you have and your reputation I bet you could sell a good number of these if you do make them. Id buy one.

I would like the entry level MAF idea since I was going to get a MAF this year sometime soon. Any of those produsts sounds great, I have only heard good things about you and I will find out how great your service is soon enough. Keep up the good work

MAF for sure with mapped chips, heads would also be nice! I agree with porsche O phile that the market for fully built motors just probably isnt there to make a big enough profit for your time.

Thank you guys for the input, much appreciated. It will look into offering heads, cams and when I get a chance will work for a DIY MAF kit where you get our software. This will be for stock K26 cars!
Water injection will be tested on the dyno soon....

As far as stand alone, I do offer DTA for converting the 930 CIS to modern EFI. For the 951, I'm yet to see the need for a standalone, as the DME/KLR perform great. However, DTA works fine on the 951. The MotronicEditor, which converts the stock DME into a standalone is being used now, we still have to add few more safety features and write a user guide before we can release it.

We will be introducing a EPROM replacement. I will post the details on the site this week! Look for many more offerings, we plan on being your only source for proven performance.. We will also be offering MAF kits for the E30 BMWs mainly E30 M3s..

Again, thank you for the input.

John,
I really like the idea of a modified cylinder head and the cams. Also, would you be offering a new intake manifold in order to compliment the modified head?

As far as the off the shelf engines go, that is something I would really like to see offered, but I also don't know if it would be profitable. Perhaps it is a service you could offer on request rather then have them on shelf, although that would not help because part of the market would be racers who need their engine by the weekend. Anyways, please keep us posted on what you're offering and keep up the good work!

How about a video or DVD...

"A beginner's guide to whooping your neighbor's Ferrari 355."

It could go on to detail the ins and outs of taking a stock 951 to 400+HP with performance mods from Vitesse Racing.
