I’ll look for and hopefully buy a 0-100psi electrical pressure gauge that actually works with my newly installed sensors (to fuel, exhaust, water injection, and boost pressures). Then late in the week I’ll unpack my newly Jet-Hot coated (inside and outside) headers, X-over pipe and turbine housing. It took so some persuasion and waiver signing to have them coat the inside of the turbine. Obviously I think it will work, if they do a good job on the application.

Today:
Disassembled, cleaned, reassembled the oil pump.
Installed the timming belt.
Installed another shop light in the engine assembly area (sort of related)
Fiddled around with my new driving light lenses, to convert them to the Euro version.

Also messed around with the Bronco. The choke needed to be adjusted on that mysterious object thats bolted to the intake, it mechanically meters fuel based on air flow or something like that. Sounds like dark forces are at work in there.

Ugh, the list is long.
Get a 3.0 Bar FPR, Change oil, catch can install, cap/rotor, plugs, tial 38mm, venturi delete, ss fuel lines from Pauer (amazing lines I might add), get some hard pipes, change trans gear oil, install new LSD tranny, new CV joints, do oil baffle, rod bearings, oil gasket, put in T04, wrap crossover/downpipe, get my manifold/cam tower/maf/strut brace/everything in engine back from PC, get new tires and rims,new fan switch, finish clutch job, clean out my IC, rewire my stupid Arc 2 and radio, reinstall short shifter, rebuild calipers, oil pressure sending unit, tension T belt, lower rear end, replace hearter valve, install HKS EVC4, cut headlight braket, 968 castor blocks, install spring spacers, get a life

I prolly should have pulled the engine, but when the list started, it was so small you know. O well.

'83 944 - Engine is ready to come out as of this past Saturday. I just need to put my hoist together and hook it up to the block ... then the rebuild will commence.

Kool's 951 - Find some bolts we misplaced for his air box, flush the coolant system, and troubleshoot an electrical issue with his headlights / foglights.

My daily (Honduh) - Replace hydraulic fluid, general tuneup (plugs, wires, cap, rotor), and adjust the clutch.

Trying to get my Mafterburner from going over-rich and killing engine at full throttle. I actually need the engine RUNNING to do the tuning. It works great at part throttle throughout the whole rpm band. Hope I don't have to go to San Antonio for Dyno tuning before Texas Mile in less than three weeks.

BTW, who is going to Texas Mile Should be a great event.

Update for me: I picked up the block, pistons and crank girdle today from Imagine Auto's engine room, where I did the teardown on the '83 engine and got it on my workbench and started cleaning on it today. I also went and got an estimate on the 968, only $3200 freakin dollars damage to the car... I also prepped the M030 spindles and strut housings for powder coating, so all I have left to do on that is actually GET the powder coating equipment and oven! I will keep cleaning engine parts this week and shoudl have some shiny suspension parts by the end of the week, so Karl, we need to start talking about that beer! Looks like I am going to make it on my goals for the week.

Failed at 3 different fibreglass air box designs. Looks like I have to go with a basic piece cut out and maybe develop it from there.

In the process of doing an R&R on the trany for a new Limited Slip Diff. on the 87. Installed a 10,000 # two pole lift and two new high lift garage doors. Built a 12x12x3’ set of shelving to store stuff on.

Just bought several 3" OD mandrel u-bend exhaust pipes and I'm awaiting a K26 outlet flange. Once it's all here I'm fabbing up a custom 3" downpipe and cat test pipe.

I'll be hauling my baby around town getting paint estimates since i had stripped her down to bare metal, i have a temporary protective primer on her though. Taking the head off as well to figure out what the hell that tapping noise is.

I put the AC delete bracket back on my car and heat shrunk the cables that attach to the alternator due to the insulation rotting bare and finding someones previous attempt (a bad one) to wrap them in electrical tape. Other than that, not much. Still waiting on parts.
