Wow, look at all the remarks..I was out of town and now I am back to respond.

I have a stage 5 Kokeln turbo that had a #8. I am putting in a 3.0 ltr motor that is in a dedicated track car. EVERYONE I spoke to recommended a #10 hotside for the turbo on a 3.0 motor.

I did find the #10 stamped inside the port, but it was a little ground down...... I also got the #10 thermal coated.....

The #10 turbine is larger than the 8 and likely the nozzle is different, too.

As the nozzle size changes, radius of the turbine changes, too. Higher a/r (area of nozzle/radius of turbine wheel). Bigger a/r= more Hp=more lag.
