Default Broken cruise control

So last night, after work, when to start the car... before I started cranking this awful clicking noise came from under the hood. Looks like my Cruise control unit is shot. I think it's the controller part, not the actual actuator part by the battery.

Anyone got a used one laying around they wanna sell?

These cars are notorious for having the cruise control computers go out. In the vast majority of the cases re-soldering the connections on the circuit board will bring it to life again; do some digging on this board, it's pretty well documented or I believe Clark's Garage has the procedure there.

Is it for an early or late car? The computers are different.
