the car is a 944 NA from 1982 - 1985 that was converted to turbo later - the chassis is completely different and it needs a lot of work to get the turbo with all original parts running in there. As the exhaust is already in the car, I assume the engine was already running in the car?

I didnt get much info on the previous engine. But it was running a MRTurbo management. So i assume the engine had a turbo... all the breaks are disc and inside is immaculate. Looks new infact besides where it was loosened

952 I thought was originally designated for the 944 Turbo S, due to the larger turbo etc..

Took her out of storage this weekend.....OMG, is this car cool! It just screams on the highway.....was running with a 996.2 and Ferrari 360 coming back from an event yesterday, she was the fastest of the group. And that's pretty standard when running with other cars. Buying a second home in FL, it's a small house, going to gut it and start over.....was always thinking I could sell this car to help fund that.....but I just have to say no. Such a cool car.

and the 1989 951 not designated S has the bigger Turbo K-26#8, not found in previous years except the 1988, mid-year model designated S.

It's the same car.....when I got the car, it came with aftermarket wheels that were too wide and rubbed the fenders, sold them.

I bought some 996 wheels to replace those (the green car is not mine, just one I saw driving by):

And I remember seeing this picture in a thread here, I was thinking of plasti dipping them:

And I found some powder coated Cup II wheels in the classifieds here a few years back and bought them and some new tires. They never photograph well, but in person I think they look awesome.

The car has headers, turbonetrics turbo, upgraded IC, piggy back fueling system, 3" exhaust, MAF, etc. It makes 285 ft-lbs of torque with 15 PSI......it is just such a cool car.....and it took me a while to get it dialed in.

I just bought new speed and reference sensors for $52 shipped off of Rockauto (for both)! Bosch units. The last issue I have is that it sometimes stalls after a while at a stop light, open the hood, wiggle the sensor wires and it starts right up. Already replaced the harness that goes back to the DME a year or two ago.....guess I should of started with the easy part first.
