Engine was cold, I wasn't on the throttle, and we're at 3700ft elevation. I'll have to do it again properly heh. Like I said, it was my first time doing it .

someone on here said they saw 10% or so lower on compression when the throttle is left closed vs. wide open. cold engine doesn't help either.

that does look like it could be moisture than condensed out in the catch can.

hope it's a non issue for you. good luck!

sorry if you already posted your results but, how did you do? I'm building a 2.8 big bore too. Just got block home from shop. I'm waiting for crank, then start getting all the rest of the parts together...can't wait!

I laid down 361whp on a mustang dyno, which works out to around 400whp on a dynojet. This was at 15psi and a very agressive timing map.

Thanks rage, I won't have mine ready for a couple months. I can't make and spend my money fast enough!

Condensation in a oil catch can is a comon problem.
In my old Golf vr6 i had one.
And in the winterit would great a crazy amount of water.
It would freeze at night and drain out when it would wormup will driving.
Thats why in my car i had the drain plug always a bit open to let it drip to the floor by a rubber hose.
That way i wouldn't get water into the motor.
