I know that the waterpumps for 944/951/968 are basically the same except for the 951 turbo coolant takeoff - but what do the last 5 digits mean for these pumps?

From the Paragon website:
1. for the 951 WP p/n 951.106.021.10 what does the 021.10 mean - I've seen 021.08 etc.

2. for the 968 WP p/n 944.106.003.00 - what is the significance of the 003.00 - I've seen 124.2R, etc.

Anyone care to shed some light on this? Which ones are interchangeable? Skip? Danno?

According to PET:

951.106.021.01 is for -86 M44.5/51 engines

951.106.021.08 is for 87+ M44.5/51 engines

951.106.021.10 is for 88+ M44.52 engines

944.106.003.00 is for 92+ M44.43/44 engines (all 968 3.0L engines)

944.106.021.13 is for -86 M44.05-10/40 engines

944.106.021.22 is for 87+ M44.05-10/40 engines

944.106.021.24 is for 89+ M44.11/12/41


If that isn't clear,

944.106.003.00 is the one for your 968,

and

951.106.021.10 is the one for your turbo.

The rest are for non-S engines, 2.5 and 2.7L NA's and S2's.

I don't know which are interchangeable.
