cylinders filling up with gas!! HELP PLEASE
the car will NOT start.
tach is moving when I crank the engine... I jumped the fuel pump relay, I am getting power to the coil.
I crank for maybe 8 seconds and then it wont crank anymore. I pull the plugs and ALL of them are soaked with gas (number 3 was almost FULL).
I've cleared out the cylinders and put the plugs back in and it just keeps filling the cylinders with fuel.
Does ANYONE have ANY clue what the hell is giong on. It seems like the injectors are stuck WIDE OPEN.
Thanks to anyone that can help.
Colin

STOP doing that!!!!!
Either your fuel pressure regulator or the other fuel thingy (I can't recall the name) is leaking fuel into the vacuum hose.
You are washing down the cylinder walls scratching them. You are also diluting the oil in the sump.
As soon as you replace the problem part, change the oil before starting the car.

Ditto the advice given. Pull the vacuum line off the fuel pressure regulator and see if there is gas in it. Be careful with the gas -- have a fire extinguisher handy.
