Does anyone happen to know if I can find a TPS with 90mm bolt spacing? Preferably one with a 3-wire connector.

is the stock one 90mm? I think it is basically the same as any M20/similar BMW TPS....

which means at least there's already several adapters for an M50 TPS floating around

The VEMS kits can have a new cheaper TPS and adapter loom, not sure if it would work with a different ECU though. Or if the vendors would sell it separately.

I installed the harness on the car, and now I've started to program the ECU, but I immediately ran into a problem. Maybe someone can help me with this. I can't find dead time vs. voltage data to calibrate the fuel injectors. I'm using the original 951 injectors - 0280150803. Also, the TPS shows 100% at idle, and as you press the throttle pedal, it goes to 0%.

Probably just flip +5v and gnd going to the TPS. Both the M50 and the 944 appear to expose all 3 pins of their potentiometer, this should invert that scale.

No idea on the injectors, unfortunately.

Thanks for posting your experience. Great information.

For your injector question, I believe ECU Master doesn’t support our injectors. Below is from their website. Apologize in advance if I missed something.
  • -8 Injectors (5A protected, low side, high impedance only, resistor box must be used for low impedance injectors)

Hi,

I'm about to install Ecumaster Black ECU on my 944 turbo this winter. Have you already got your car running?

Not yet, but I'm working on it. I'll keep you posted. After last week, I decided to change the injectors, so I will go with some 12-ohm and 610cc injectors. I'm trying to figure out the trigger signal until the injectors arrive.

I received the flywheel, and I plan to install it ASAP. I want to ask if any of you have installed a 60-2 flywheel, what settings did you use for the trigger? I'm not really sure how many degrees or teeth the missing tooth is and the bracket offset from TDC. I will give it a look when I install it.
