Default Turbo drivetrain swap into an n/a

I am thinking about dropping my turbo drivetrain, plus suspension and brakes into an n/a. (just because I have my wrecked turbo, and n/a's in rough shape are cheap) If anyone has done the swap I would love to hear from you and get any tips before I start. I'm not too worried about the work but somtimes others have helpful tips. Thanks

How about putting it into a 924S for the ultimate sleeper car.

Don't forget to take the instrument cluster from the turbo too, and fuel pump, etc.

For a real sleeper, put the drivetrain into a 931 or 924S. There might be issues with the fender and wheel clearance. I seriously considered it when I wrecked my 951. Fortunately the ins co was reasonable and I wound up repairing it. Think it through before accepting any $$ from the ins.

I have certainly considered the 924s idea, I want to stay away from a 924 or 931 though I think due to the different torque tube and some other differences. It will just depend on what I find. As for the insuance stuff, my battle is not over yet. It would be one thing if I wrecked it and they were trying to screw me but i was rear ended and its just plain wrong the way insurance companies treat people.
