Timing Cycling Boost Valve ??????
what up Yall'
My Cycling Boost Valve got broken when I pulled of the hoses. What does a Timing Cycling Boost Valve do? What problems can it give if it does not work or is not hooked up? Anybody got one for sale? Any other other general info on a Timing Cycling Boost Valve... Thanks. 86' 944 turbo |
i actually have a Cycling vavle laying in my garage because i did away with it when i installed the Tial wastegate and reliaboost

I'll pay shipping for your broken one if it's worthless to you now.
The cycling valve is the stock boost controller, without it you'll overboost. Sam |
I have a new cycling valve still in the factory box. Never used it as I went with a manual boost controller.

So if you have lindsey boost enhancer you wont need this cycling valve?
|
that is correct to my knowledge. i am actually selling my bost enhancer on ebay right now but it will cost more then what i will sell the cv.

Give him a link Daniel! Sheesh!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MESSE:IT You can throw out your CV (or send it to Sammy ;) ). You can clean up some of those hoses under the intake by running a LBE or reliaboost (www.boostsciences.com or www.gururacing.net) directly from the banjo bolt on your hardpipes to the top of your wastegate. Just be sure to set the LBE or reliaboost to a reasonable boost pressure (10-11 PSI stock). The CV is basically crap as far as boost "control" is concerned. |
