Vintage gold plasti dip phone dials!
In case anyone wants to do this and wondering what it looks like... I’m very happy with the way they turned out! I used a sharpie to paint over the plasti dip on caps. I plan on driving this car less than 1000 miles a year so durability is not an issue with me. Car is garage kept all the time. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...ea6a396ed2.png https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...be0ec64ad.jpeg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...758dd686b.jpeg |
Gorgeous!

Looks good, did you use the glossifier or just straight dip? It's surprisingly durable on wheels. I have it on my winter tire sent for the Subaru and it has held up great through at least the last 5 winters.

I used six coats of vintage gold and then three coats of glossifier. |
Wheels look great, nice work.

I'm a sucker for phones. Gold looks nice on that car.
