I purchased a 944 Turbo!
Hello all, I purchased an 86 944 Turbo with 46,xxx miles in excellent condition. Garage kept its entire life in Arizona.Timing belt is new (900 miles on it) and changed. The only issue with the car is it has not been started in 4 years. Other than new battery, new tires, new plugs, draining all fluids and maybe hand cranking for the first start.....should I look out for anything else? Thanks!

Also pull the spark plugs shoot some marvel mystery oil wait overnight and some gas additives and have a merry Christmas

Congrats on the purchase. Sounds like a really nice car.
How many years on the timing belt? They age not just from mileage.
I'd suggest pulling the coil plug from the distributor cap on your first cranks to build oil pressure first, reconnect and you should be good to go. My car often sits 6 months at a time between starts and it fires right up without issue.
Good chance you'll have a noisy lifter or 2. Let the car idle for a while and it should go away.

Nice! I admire white 951’s even though I’ve never had one.
You should be good with a change of all oils and gas then hand crank a few times. Remove the belt covers and check the belts for any deterioration like cracking from sitting in one position for so long. As others have said the three fuel lines connected to the fuel rail if they haven’t been changed.

Contact Lart here on rennlist for the fuel lines. Or pay 10% more thru eBay to him for the same stuff. He might even have a Christmas special?
