Refreshing the Wire Harness

So what is the way to replace the brown plastic engine wiring harness wrap? My first thought is a generic plastic cable armor. Heat shrink wrap possibly... excessive electrical tape?

Tesa tape the wires then into a fire resist loom / covering. But I'm using just Tesa tape and it's holding up well.
