The EFR does have a nother senter house, so it wont fit directly, but it saved me from alot of hours.

380 dollar with some mods.

Got a reply back from ACL

"At this time they are not on the drawing board. ACL will be discussing this at the upcoming PRI trade show."

I'd let it go real cheap if you are interested, only had dyno time before I got it and stored it for years after that.

For what you could get this for, you could have it disassembled, checked and modded to whatever you want.

I might even still have the modded stock/polished crossover that bolts directly up to it with stock engine mount pedestal location.

Best of my recollection, 3.0 16V, good for 500 bhp.

Any news on those MM cams

Unless Max Energy has a change of plans, only set that was available is gone to a new home with a fellow RL'er.

I did get my new custom CatCams, delivered yesterday though.

The cams are hollow with a bore like a gun barrel down the center which makes them way lighter than factory cams, reground factory cores, etc.

Being that camshafts spin at 1/2 rpm, and this weight reduction is at and near center, doubt there's any real world benefit, but definitely a substantial decrease in rotating mass.

Close to 4 pounds worth, nearly 2 lbs each cam lighter.

Stock 19t 944S/S2 intake cam - (in oz)

CatCams 19t 944S .474/.454 - (in oz)

Over 30 oz difference.

To anybody is USA, the company's listed US vendor is about as unresponsive as any company I have even approached..., don't waste your time.

I had conversations with a couple of European suppliers and settled on one that turned out to be the fast track to get these.

PM if interested.

Northern porker, same source I already shared with you.

If you are retaining hydraulic lifters, these are the maximum lift/duration recommended by Cat.

290/282 duration @.1mm

29 degrees overlap probably not a good turbo cam....

1st pic is stock 944S intake, 2nd pic is Cat billet steel, which edge....?

You mean the lobes themselves....?

I might have snapped a couple more that I can post a point of interest, but they are already boxed back up and headed to MM who's waiting for them to couple with my cylinder head to make some checks. I didn't measure the lobe width either but they looked narrower slightly compared to factory but it could just be that lift is taller, making it appear that way.

A bit of an update the 3.0 16v engine has now been built and the fabrication for the EFR 7670 turbo is currently underway.
