NO! Your a DICK.
Don't ask me to respond, then when I give my honest reasons, you resort to childish name calling.

By the way, sales hype always falls flattest among the well-informed.

DFASTEST951's car is a nice car. I know him, and have seen is car. It's a 3.0 liter car.
Consider that with an aftermarket intercooler, my 2.5 will be within 50RWHP of his at the same boost level, and you'll understand why I say the car is "seriously fast".
And it is.
But it's not extremely fast, and neither is DFASTEST951's car. My previous IROC which made 722RWHP (blown 434" V8 tall deck Rocket Block, etc...) at the low boost setting was extremely fast. So I'm well aware of what constitutes fast, seriously fast, and extremely fast.
My IROC would smoke any 951...(at least in a straight line) by such a large margin it wouldn't even be considered funny... (that is if it could the power down to the ground.. which is could not with 375/18 rear tires running a Ford 9" rear end modified to fit a F body car). This engine was built by Paul Pfaff and the supercharger, intake system, and fuel injection was done by Kenny Dutweiler (Buick Grand National King).
So trust me when I say that I'm well aware of what seriously fast is.
When you drive a car that will light up the tires at 100MPH, you'll know damn well what an extremely fast car is. Until then, save it...
DFASTEST951 car = 480RWHP @ 21psi boost @ 3000lbs (guessing his weight.. but it's got to be close to 3000lbs +/-)
My IROC 722RWHP at 3200-3300lbs at 12psi boost (running pump gas) with no intercooler.
Which one is extremely fast? You tell me. :-)
What happens is that you go from seriously fast to stupid fast, which is what I did. At stupid fast you risk wrecking the car every time you floor it. It's almost impossible to control at any speed.
Now that we have things in perspective, we can go back to your evaluation of your stock 951. Is it really extremely fast? Have you ever been in a car that is extremely fast? One would think not.. at least not based on the evaluation of a stock 951.
PS> You should see the looks on the passengers faces.... that tells the story :-)

1st944, I really apologize for the bashing on your car. My first 951 had some minor body damage and a $ 700.00 paint job and I was able to sell it for $ 7200.00 2 years ago, to someone who had never owned a porsche. You can probably sell your car for $ 5000.00 but not to this crowd. List the car in your local newspaper, you might have better luck than rennlist. This forum is composed by very sick minded Porsche fanatics its like a cult of some kind.
I even light candles in front of a Porsche crest, and kiss my car goodnight.
My bedspread has the porsche logo and the only magazine I buy is Excellence and my restroom is full of them.
Good luck with the car and may the boost be with you.
Sincerely
Luis

JC,
thanks for being one of the only seemingly rational people in this thread. You are right, I don't have time to post all day, and I do use the search, which has been greatly informative.
Luis,
Thanks for the offer, you obviously understand what obo means, unlike nz951 who only sees 5k. I live in New Jersey.
The thing I need to clarify is that, for a 5k obo car, my description is accurate. The seats are in excellent condition, considering the car is 18 years old, and is all original. The pictures do not do them justice as it was a overcast day when I took them and it makes everything seem darker. But as I said the pictures are there to give an idea of what it is like. I am not asking anyone to buy it without looking at it, or driving it. The car obviously needs work, but that is why its priced as such. I have rarely seen a 951 go for under 4k, and the ones I have were much much worse then mine and are not turbo.
Lastly,
nz951, i guess you have no appreciation for the performance of a stock 951, you obviously need 315hp @ 1.0 bar (din corrected)
, for it to be extremely fast. What I mean by my statement is that, the 951 is still faster then 90% of the cars made today. This from a car that is 18 years old. To me that is an incredible level of performance, and as such I stated my PERSONAL OPINION! If you do not feel the stock 951 is fast, go have a pissing match between your car and DFASTEST951's, of course that won't work because your car isn't even close. Therefore you should continue to boost your ego by comparing it to stock ones. Yes I have had much faster cars, but to me the 951 is an extremely fast car.

You never even bothered to address my politely worded questions. Can you take another look at my post and address those? Thanks!

All I have to say is that Rennlist used to be a lot friendlier with newbies. It doesn't hurt to give them the benefit of the doubt, either. This car may not fit the guy's description by our standards, but frankly, he's not asking for a lot of money either.
